Florence Hits: All eyes on Hurricane Florence as it's expected to make landfall today and cause serious flooding over the weekend. It's already taking a toll on the coast of the Carolinas. It's a Category 1 now, but officials say, it's still extremely powerful and dangerous. More than a million people were told to evacuate and about 2,000 flights are cancelled so far. Trump on Puerto Rico: President Trump is claiming Democrats exaggerated the official death toll from Hurricane Maria, which hit Puerto Rico a year ago, but elected officials on both sides of the aisle say not true. Remember: the updated death toll came from independent researchers at George Washington University and underwent peer review.

Boston Blast: A natural gas pipeline ruptured and caused dozens of explosions in three communities near Boston yesterday. Homes caught fire, hundreds of people had to evacuate and one person died. Federal investigators are now looking into how this happened.

NY Primaries: It may have been a high-profile race, but it wasn't really a close one. NY's Gov. Andrew Cuomo easily won the Democratic primary and beat activist and actress, Cynthia Nixon. He'll now face Marcus Molinaro in November. Also, a historic win: Democrats picked Letitia James for attorney general. She's the first black woman to win a major party's nomination in a statewide race there.

Oldest Drawing Ever: A hashtag-like marking on a stone is now being called the earliest known drawing in history. It's from 73,000 years ago and was recently discovered in South Africa. Some say it means humans were into art earlier than we thought.
