House Vote on Impeachment Articles: 
The House will vote today to send the impeachment articles to the Senate. Democrats in the House already impeached President Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress; now the articles will go to the Senate to decide whether to remove him from office. House Democrats will also likely announce the “impeachment managers” who will essentially be the prosecutors in the Senate trial.

Democratic Debate Highlights: 
Six presidential hopefuls took the stage in Des Moines, Iowa last night. Three of the biggest issues covered at the debate were foreign policy, healthcare and electability. Though there were no major fireworks on stage, an on-camera interaction after the debate between Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders is getting a lot of attention. Watch it here.

Delta Flight Fuel Drop: 
A Delta plane on its way back for an emergency landing at the Los Angeles airport dumped thousands of gallons of jet fuel over the city. The fuel fell on several schools, and dozens of students and staff reported minor skin and lung irritations. Experts suggest the pilots would have ideally dropped the fuel over the nearby water instead of the city. No one was seriously hurt.

Red Sox Fire Manager for Cheating Scheme: 
Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora was fired for stealing signs when he coached for the Houston Astros two years ago. The team decided not to wait to see what punishment he may get from the league for possibly bringing the scheme with him to Boston. Remember: the Astros GM and manager were also fired this week for taking part.

WNBA's Landmark Deal: 
The WNBA and its union have agreed to a landmark deal that would bump pay and benefits for the players. If it goes through, the average compensation for WNBA players would surpass six figures for the first time, and top players could earn more than $500,000 per year. They’ll also get better benefits, such as a full salary while on maternity leave and improved travel accommodations.

Windows 10 Security Patch: 
Microsoft is ending support for the old PC operating system Windows 7, encouraging PC-owners to upgrade to Windows 10. However, on the same day, details of a security issue were released. The bug could potentially impact hundreds of millions of computers using Windows 10, but Microsoft has now released a security patch.

Dating Apps & Privacy: 
A new report found popular dating apps are sharing users’ personal information. The consumer watchdog group says Grindr, OkCupid and Tinder are sharing users’ locations, sexual preferences and political views with advertisers to help them send more targeted ads. The Norwegian Consumer Council is calling on U.S. and European regulators to investigate. The companies say they follow privacy laws.

Apply To Be 'Space Companion’: 
Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa, who pre-paid SpaceX for a trip to the moon once paying passengers are allowed, is looking for a “single woman” to go with him. It will be part of a matchmaking documentary known as Full Moon Lovers, which will air on a Japanese streaming service. Applicants have until this Friday to apply, and a final decision will be made in March.

Jeopardy! GOAT: 
Ken Jennings is officially the greatest Jeopardy! contestant of all time. He claimed the title last night and will receive a $1 million prize. Jennings played against James Holzhauer and Brad Rutter. He won the required three games after just four matches in this month's special tournament.

Work Wednesday - 2020 Job Openings: 

There are more than 7.3 million job openings to start off 2020, which is about three times as many as the beginning of the last decade. There are about 1.4 million more job openings than there are job seekers. The Bureau of Labor Statics says hotels and restaurants have the most openings right now.
