Wall Street Woes: 
Fears and uncertainty about the coronavirus disease took another huge toll on the stock market yesterday as all three major indexes saw the largest one-day point declines on record. Cases have been reported in 47 countries now.

South Carolina Primary: 
The South Carolina primary is happening tomorrow. At this point, Bernie Sanders is still seen as the frontrunner, but Joe Biden got a big endorsement from Rep. James Clyburn. Also, Tom Steyer has spent a lot of money in hopes of seeing his first top-tier finish in South Carolina. Many candidates are already focusing on next week’s Super Tuesday, when voters in 14 states will go to the polls.

Winter Storm Heads East: 
A big winter storm is bringing blizzard conditions to parts of New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Some places could see up to four feet of snow and wind gusts of 60 mph. This storm has already dropped snow from Washington to Kansas to the Dakotas, but it’s expected to wrap up by tomorrow.

Biggest Explosion in Universe: 
Astronomers have discovered the biggest known explosion in the universe. The blast was 390 million light years away in a black hole within a cluster of galaxies. The explosion was powerful enough to fit 15 Milky Way galaxies inside of it. It happened back in 2016, but astronomers were just able to confirm it.

Walmart+ vs. Amazon Prime?: 
A new report says Walmart is working on a new membership program that could compete with Amazon Prime. Testing for Walmart+ could start as soon as next month. The program will start as a re-launch of unlimited same-day grocery delivery with additional perks expected later.

DoorDash News: 

DoorDash filed the paperwork for an initial public offering. So far, the company hasn’t said how many shares it plans to sell or what they’ll cost, but DoorDash is valued at approximately $13 billion. The IPO could help them get even further ahead of Uber Eats, Grubhub and Postmates. Also, a fun note: DoorDash will start making deliveries for Krispy Kreme as of tomorrow. They’ll drop off at locations within 10 miles of a store.

LinkedIn Story Feature: 
LinkedIn is testing out Snapchat-like stories to offer a lighter, more casual way of interacting on the platform. The feature is just being tested internally for now.

Leap Day: 
Tomorrow is Leap Day. It's the extra day added to our calendar every four years as a corrective measure (it actually takes Earth nearly six hours longer than 365 days to orbit the sun). Since February 29th doesn’t come every year, the chances of being born on that day are 1/1461.

More Feel Good Friday: Last week when a Rhode Island family ordered a pizza, their toddler ran after the delivery driver to thank him for dinner with a hug. The interaction was caught on the doorbell camera and posted to social media. When the delivery driver saw the post, he told the family the hug meant the world to him because his daughter had passed away days earlier.
